An FF12 doujinshi I doodled on-and-off from December until now - I hope the art style changes aren't too annoying.
It came about as a personal what-if: what if Gabranth had survived at the end of the game? He obviously could not have escaped unscathed. He would have been incapacitated for considerable time (hence his hair growing out), forcing Basch to take his place as Judge Magister in the meantime.
The conflicts for Gabranth in this situation would have been frustration and self-hate (wait, isn't that his conflict anyway? Haha) and feeling quite useless, and so I set out to resolve this conflict in this what-if scenario. I also wanted to draw Balthier and (older!)Larsa, so I added them in!
And thus this 20 page AU one-shot. Ahaha... it was unscripted, so I basically made up stuff as I went along. It's nothing too spectacular, but I enjoy drawing it! I hope it was fun reading it, as well (:

For having not scripted the comic before doing it, it has good dialogues, and... *sigh* my dear Fon Ronsenburgs, awww :_3 It's lovely to see them together like this, it soothes my heart after finishing the game little ago (the suffering and struggles of the brothers, along with Noah's death and Basch's sacrifice... that hurt so much). ALSO older!Larsa making an appearence and talking to his judges YESSS *both thumbs up* And Balthier, ever the tease hahaha.
