2/6/07 --> Because so many people have pointed it out...YES, I know Quinton Flynn did the VA for both of them (and Raiden! Gotta love that poo-slipping kid :XD: ). That's part of the reason I think they fit so well. ^^;

It's generally accepted by Final Fantasy/Kingdom Hearts fans that Reno is Axel's Somebody, although obviously there are many other speculations out there. I think it's a pretty good guess, considering they both have redish hair, both have mako-glow eyes (NEON geez xD), both have marks on their face, and both have that same skinny, lithe build that let's them jump around the place whacking their opponents to death with their assorted weapon xD

Originally I was going to draw Reno's Nightstick as well, but it covered his face so I took it out. I really wanted to include Zack in the image, because I think Axel is a hybrid of Reno and Zack's combined Nobodies, but that would be too much work for me xDDD So you get this! I hope you guys like it, despite the rather simple colouring. The big-ass watermark I put on my other images was shrunk down and plugged into the top right corner, because I didn't like it stealing the viewer's attention. :)

See, what *really* happened was that after Zack died, he melted into the lifestream (despite the whole AC cut scene, you know....) Reno was wandering around, happened across a big glowing pool of lifestream water stuff, and the Zack pyre-fly bits sgot tuck on Reno... or something. XD

Axel cheated! His name should be Roxen, or: Exorn, Nerox, Norex, Xeron, Xoren, Rexon, Oxern, Renxo, Ronxe, Noerx, Neorx, Xeorn, Xoern, Rexno, Renox, Noxer, Nexor, Noxre, Nexro, ect...

Roxen and Roxas... maybe that's why his name is Axel... to lessen the AkuRokuness of the game. Which they failed to do...

Axel could be a combination of Reno, Zack and Cloud. If you take the second letter of their names and add an x you get Axel.

Zack's A + X + Reno's E + Cloud's L = AXEL
